Pastel or Skin Tones?

I am planning on purchasing a set but I don’t know which one ... I can’t get both because my parents wouldn’t allow me to get two sets but last year I got the 72 set and I feel like I could use more skin tones but also more pastels, does the pastels have some range or skin tones? Because the skin tones I’m looking for is more on the really pale side since I’m pretty content with the darker colors I already have. Anyone who has both sets would like to share their preferences?

I started with the 48 normal set and the 24 skintone set before the pastels came out and it was really nice. It is a good 'starter pack' if you intend to draw humans in normal skincolors.

The Pastelset is more of an additional set to those two sets, in my opinion, as it brings contrast to the more saturated colors in the 'main' set

If you choose the skin color pack and you find the saturated main set to be too much you can always go over the painting with some colored pencil to give it a somewhat softer look :)

Really hope this helped and was understandable.
