Ohuhu Colored Pencil 48 set
on February 16, 2016
I too jumped on the adult coloring craze this past Fall. I am employed by a major art supply company ( but by no means an artist ) and working in customer service I hear a lot about art materials by our customers reviews on products ( whether I want to or not..lol ) in phone conversations. I have tried various colored pencils ranging from scholastic to artist grade and these pencils in my own opinion, fall into a lower quality of artist grade pencils. Only a number on the pencil signifies the color of the pencil and I haven'the scene them sold as open stock, so replacing certain colors would be difficult. I may be wrong, but I believe the manufacturer of these pencils also make Prismacolor pencils, so the # on the pencil may cross reference in Prismacolor open stock colors ( I will need to check that out ). For what I bought the pencils for, they work okay. Breakage has been minimal, which is good because to get a better darker coverage, you have to apply a little more pressure. For the price, you get a large variety of 'different' colors. They came in a heavy cardboard cylinder which is nice for storage and for shipping. Not 1 pencil lead was broke when I received them. Since I, like most people, cannot afford some of the other brands out there, I would recommend these pencils.
