Only one thing wrong with the pens, and that is that they do bleed through the paper.
They seep through paper, bleed like crazy, don't even try to color in the lines because the ink spreads everywhere, the "purple" is hot pink. They're okay after a few uses.
Overall I was excited upon getting these as I've wanted copic makers for some time now, but they're so expensive. These are a good alternative, but they also have some flaws. 1. There's no color purple or hardly any flesh tones or soft pinks. 2. An abundance of greens and blues but they don't vary in the color spectrum. 3. You have to be careful pulling the caps off, if not the markers will leak all over you and possibly ruin your clothes. 4. They bleed terribly even on sketchbook paper that's usually OK with permanent marker. You have a lay down a few sheets of scrap paper so you don't waste any good sheets of paper. 5. They don't blend all that great.
The markers are great and work lovely, but when I bought the pack of 40 I expected there to be a greater variety of colors. Instead I got several shades of gray and brown, but absolutely no shades of purple.
They smudge all over if you do. But besides that they are perfect
Markers are great! They color very nicely. They do however bleed so be careful! Also the 40 pack doesn't come with areal purple. They have like 2 labeled as a purple but they look like pinks. Purple is my favorite color and I'm kinda upset.... i think I would prefer purples over shades of grey... IMO a marker set should at least have the colors of the rainbow!
They are good and the color is vibrant and all but they bleed through the paper so much it leaves really big marks and it bleeds onto the rest of your page(on top). They are good for their cheap price but nowhere near copic quality at all.
The markers are great, but when you pay $4.00 for some gift wrap and you get a brown box it's dissapointing
I was looking for alcohol based markers and these were the first to pop up, I read the reviews and several reviews stated they blended well and were a very good alternative cheap alternative to Copics. I of course went by the reviews and ordered them. They do not blend like copics at all, you can see if the drawings people post that they are just layering colors that are close together, but they don't seem like they are alcohol based and the "brush" tip isn't really a brush tip. They are excellent for regular markers, and it's my fault for reading reviews and not reading the actual product description where it doesn't mention anything about being alcohol based. So for markers I give 5 stars but for a cheaper alternative to copics I wouldn't even consider these.
