I was super excited to get these! The brush tips are pretty flexible and make everything easy to blend, my set came with 6 Skin Tones, I use light skin tones but sadly it came with 1 light tone and the rest gets darker but I still use the darker tones to create shadows, one thing I will say is the cap names scratch away, I wasn’t expecting a lot of light colors but it came with just enough, my only problem with the colors is there arnt super light colors such as the color “pastel pink” it isn’t really pastel it’s pretty vibrant. The type of paper you use can influence how the color looks, for my case I used the Strathmore Bristol paper which I recommend personally because it makes the colors blend well, do not color your drawings when the paper is inside the book, I though it wouldn’t bleed but it bleeds but not as much as you expect, bleeding will occur but I recommend that you not layer more than you should, because it might bleed onto the surface you are working on. Another thing is that you may need to go over a color more than once to get a flat color ( I usually add 2 layers of color and that leaves me a very satisfying flat color.) as a beginner myself I really enjoy these markers and are 100% worth it! But the only main issue I have as mentioned before is that the color names scratch off but everything else is completely fine. I think this is common sense but if you are doing line art, please let it dry properly before adding the color, do not blend on top of your line art because it will smudge, if it is necessary to actually blend “on it” I believe you shouldn’t blend directly on top of your line art but do it near and around it to prevent smudging. Overall I had a positive experience and I hope that if you are considering purchasing these you shouldn’t doubt it for a second! They are very worth it, these in my opinion are the best alternative to copics. Hope you guys found this helpful :) yes it comes with a colorless blender.
