Great idea, but awful design. Hardly any suction! (Fully charged) The spiders crawled away from it even with it against the wall. We had to scoop the spiders up with it which we could have done with a plastic cup. Don’t waste your money!!!
I had such high hopes for this but the buttons only worked sporadically. I couldn't get the light to turn on/off consistently and he vacuum button was just as unreliable so I never even got the chance to suck up bugs with it. It also takes a really long time to charge and is extremely loud. I gave two stars rather than one because I might have gotten a defective one and it did come exactly as described. I particularly liked the small grid cover on the vacuum so that smaller bugs wouldn't get pulled in and hurt. I think it is likely cheaply made so I'd recommend getting something else with a slightly higher price tag because it will be worth it.
It is not good at capturing the tiny bugs we have in our home. It is easier for me to get them with my fingers. Oh well.
Maybe it was a defective unit but...the idea is better than the reality. I charged the unit as directed, used it but was only moderately impressed. The vacuum suction isn't very strong. I have ladybugs in the house that I prefer to catch and release but it was challenging to suck them up.
BUT, the biggest problem with the unit is that I could not switch it off. It has a low and high setting. One might think the "on" button, when pushed again, would turn the unit off but no such luck. I tried everything I could think of....even went to their website for help but couldn't find anything. I assume this is not the case with all of their bug vacuums but it certainly was with this one. Buyer beware.
This must be a cheap knockoff of some better product. It broke with the first use. First it would not turn off. Then when the battery ran down it would not recharge. We got one use out of it. Getting refund, don't waste your time.
Vacuum is too weak. Save your money.
