a good option for pain relief
on November 3, 2016
This is my first experience with a TENS unit. Despite a lot of physical and manual therapy for chronic back pain, no therapist brought this option up. My daughter-in-law used one to help her with her neck injury after a car accident and it seemed to help. It is certainly much cheaper than a physical therapy session. So I decided to give it a try. I have been using it for a week and I can say that it does much better than the heating pads and cold packs. The pain is gone during the time I have it on and for some time afterward. I like that I can walk around and do things with the controller in my pocket. I am having some problems with the directions - I need a magnifying glass in order to see them, and I don't understand the symbols, but I have stumbled across how to get it going, which is good enough for now. So my only criticism is it needs a larger manual with more detail and larger print. For the money, it does a really good job. I have ordered more pads but they seem to hold up really well from one use to the next. I was not paid for this review, nor did I get any discount or free stuff. So this is an honest opinion.
