I'm a total beginner but have had some great results with these pens. No leaks and happy painting.
These brushes are so handy! I have a couple of small round waterbrushes like these for traveling (Pentel and Sakura brands, both of which are quality brushes, too), and I really wanted some different sizes for working on larger paper. The variety of brush tips that come in this set are really great to work with. My favorite thing about these is that when using them there isn't any need for dirty water cups to mistakenly drink out of! XD
So far I haven't had any issue with these brushes. They have clear/white nylon fiber bristles, like my Pentel and Sakura brushes. Unlike my Pentel and Sakura brushes, these take a bit more squish to get water out of the brush, but it's something I feel I can overlook and doesn't affect my work.
These pens were bought for my daughter as a Christmas gift so she hasn't used them too much, but so far she is loving them!
Great product for working with watercolor! Make sure to use with think paper, or things will get soggy quickly, but that is expected with any watercolor experience. Once you get the hang of these, they are just fantastic. I love Ohuhu's art supplies - their alcohol-based sketch markers are great!
These are amazing!! They're great to use as either an alternative to brushes or side-by-side with them. Watercolor painting will be so much easier now with these. I'm in love.
I am so far great use to them, & doing a good job , Thanks
quick and easy. thanks
Love! We love these! My daughter has done some of her best water coloring pieces with these. Bristles are soft & they do exactly what they describe. She loves using them as some pressure on the brush adds a bit more water, not too much, to allow her to lighten colors up as she paints versus dipping in water. Perfect set!
More different brush sizes than most sets, plus the valves (that prevent backflow from the brush into the body) are very good - which isn't always the case for not-quite-name-brand water brushes.
Best thing ever for watercolors...
