  • Best colored pencils

Since getting adult coloring books, I have been unable to find a good assortment of colored pencils. This is a great set! It has a variety of shades and colors. The hold up well and don't break easily. They are perfect.

  • Nice Marco Raffine 48 count set!
Carl Angelilli on August 29, 2015
This is a new adult coloring hobby for me, so I don't understand why they have named the title Ohuhu 48 ct when this is a 48 ct Marco Raffine set. Color lays down beautifully with this set and I have included pictures for you to see. Unfortunately, they only have numbers and not color names. Be sure to NOT PAY ATTENTION TO THE NAMES ON THE PRISMACOLOR TEMPLATE! I just liked it and used it to compare colors on from my other sets. Only things to note (in my opinion) are that the black/#570 isn't as solid/dark as the other colors, #571/gold isn't that yellow or "gold"/dark of a gold, but #572/silver is AWSOME for a colored pencil! The picture doesn't do the silver justice, it shimmers more like a metallic marker. I've included pictures of the Prismacolor Verathin set-36, my Crayola set-50, Prang set-50 and Prismacolor set-72 count (I separately bought an additional 3 with the check marks at the front) and the Prismacolor Scholar set (incomplete set since I bought it used from eBay). • THE BEST!!!

I've been getting into the grown-up coloring books and bought a small pack of Prismacolor pencils which were expensive and didn't give me a very great color variety. So I was looking at the larger packs of Prismacolor but then came across these in my search and decided to give them a try. THEYRE AMAZINGGGGG!!!! They go on even more smoothly than the Prisma's do, have such unique beautiful colors, and we're way more affordable!! I bought the 72 pack and it's choice overload in a good way. But you could easily get by with the next size down, too, and still have a ton of great color options. I recommend these so much I immediately texted my three coloring friends to buy them too. I'm now more obsessed with coloring than I was and look forward to it every night once the kids are in bed!
  • Work well for my needs

I bought these to use in adult coloring books and I really like them. They have a crayon-like texture, a little waxy, cover well. The box they came in was open and but most of the pencils were intact, all completely usable. The pencils are numbered, not identified by a color name, but a good selection of shades. I would recommend them.
  • Very nice pencils!

This is a really nice set of colored pencils! I wanted a step up from the kiddie brands for the grown up coloring books and these definately are. A Great assortment of colors with good pigmentation. They sharpen well and write smoothly - No scratching and the color stays put. They came quickly and well packaged. I notice they don't need as much sharpening as the cheaper brands - I guess thats due to the quality of the cores? Anyway I like them 😊
