When we received the markers the bag was damaged, but the company was very quick at getting back to us and mailing out a replacement bag.Helpful？ (0)
Dana Bird 10/04/2021United StatesVerified BuyerNumber of colors : Fine & Chisel Tips (36 skin tone colors) 10/04/2021low price, great quality, amazing variety of colors and valuesthis set of markers was probably the best purchase I’ve ever made. i love this brand in general, but this pack was such a good deal and the colors are great. i was hoping to get some lighter/less saturated colors and these markers exceeded expectations. you really need some very light colors to build up color with alcohol markers, so I was thrilled to get a variety of value (lightness). these markers are cheaper than the brush ones because they’re an older model and people seem to like the brush tip markers better, but I honestly prefer the chisel and fine point because brush tips inevitably fray overtime. All in all, ohuhu are a wonderful alternative to copic and I will defend this set of markers with my life. please just buy them.Helpful？ (0)
Rachel Bond 27/03/2021United StatesVerified BuyerNumber of colors : Fine & Chisel Tips (36 skin tone colors) 27/03/20215 stars for artists on a budget. Swatch beforehand on marker paper!LONG REVIEW BUT PLEASE READ, there are a few minor caveats. Overall, these are excellent markers. If you've bought other Ohuhu Alcohol Markers and need skin tones AND the ability to create fine detail with the fine nib, buy these.
First Photo and Second Photo: Skin Tone swatches on the swatch card and the 120 Set swatch card. I've drawn a square around the redundancies.
My first impression- This first issue I had turned out to be a non-issue, I assure you. Straight out of the bag, ON THE SWATCH CARD, these bleed more than the 120 Set. Do not let that first impression dismay you!
On marker paper, the bleeding is negligible, hardly noticeable even, in comparison. This is something that can be worked with after some practice. Examples of the Skin Tone Set on marker paper in the third and fourth photo.
It's important to note that the swatch cards provided are textured, while marker paper is smooth and overall absorbs less ink.
This is why I rated 3 stars for Beginner Usability. If you've never used alcohol markers before, you may feel incompetent and frustrated when things don't work out, but don't go on believing that. I've been drawing since childhood and the most important thing I learned is that the correct techniques and using the right paper is all you need to overcome those art hurdles, making self-improvement easier. Test them out first, even if they are within the same brand.
Using art mediums is all about playing to their advantages AND disadvantages. If you practice with these markers and note how they react on various papers and techniques , you're good to go.
Third and fourth photo: Comparing the redundancies on marker paper.
Check it out! That bleeding problem is nonexistent compared to the 120 Set!
However, two things I'd like to point out. Again, these aren't deal breakers, just things worth noting to help others use these confidently.
The Skin Tone #28 Fruit Pink is less pink than the R21 Fruit Pink. It is a softer peach tone. This isn't a negative to me, but I can see it being a tad confusing if you're switching from the Skin Tone Set to other Ohuhu Alcohol Marker Sets with Fruit Pink.
There are two colors labeled as Yellow Ochre in the Skin Tone Set. Yellow Ochre #101 is the true match to the Y9 Yellow Ochre, while #147 is more like a light mahogany.
Otherwise, all redundant colors are perfect matches.
Other notes: I've worked with the Ohuhu 120 Set and I expect no less from the 36 Skin Tone Set. Comparing Ohuhu with my extensive use with CaliArt Markers, Ohuhu comes out on top. The colors and blending are a joy to work with.
TL;DR: I'm thankful for brands like Ohuhu for making quality art supplies at an accessible price comparative to the bigger brand names. That alone makes it worthy of 5 stars. I highly suggest watching ADCArtAttack comparing Ohuhus to a higher priced brand. That's what sold me. You CAN create amazing art regardless of your budget.Helpful？ (0)

I'm still getting the hang of alcohol markers and this pack is very beginner-friendly. I wish I could use them to their full potential but I'm used to doing all my art without color so my world is a bit rocked but I'm glad I have this pack to ease the journey.Helpful？ (0)

They have great variety of colors, they're juice as HECK, they don't have an unpleasant odor. Ohuhu is now probably my favorite brand of alcohol markers. I will definitely be buying more Ohuhu markers! They also came with this plastic sheet to put underneath the paper your working on which was pretty neat!Helpful？ (0)

Cassie Trombetti 13/03/2021United StatesVerified BuyerNumber of colors : Fine & Chisel Tips (36 skin tone colors) 13/03/2021Great value for money. Work nicely. Not sane as Ohuhu markers in the big sets.I love the variety of skin tones. I would have given them 5 stars had I not already owned a large Ohuhu Alcohol markers set. These dont compare well to the round markers that come in the set. (I thought these were the same but they're oval and not quite as high quality.) They still work well. Just not perfect like the other Ohuhu markers.Helpful？ (0)
